The real question is why would anyone buy a USG when this exists?

Residential applications wouldn't do that. Enterprise is another story, they don't like to have integrated equipment. They want a cloud key, and a controller, and a gateway etc all separate and replicated. An extra couple grand is nothin to a business when it comes to uptime %. Major Enterprises spend $20k on a single switch.

Well sounds like it was sold out in ten minutes. So much for having an email alert. Lol

Even if you wanted a separate cloud key or dedicated controller, this is still cheaper, has better tech, and has a legitimate PoE switch on it (the only thing most enterprise routers would actually have attached). The AP isn't a terrible addition for enterprise applications either. Even if it is rarely used or disabled.

I guess what I am saying is, you couldn't simply disable the non-routing/switching hardware and have a better/cheaper router with a PoE switch.

Any UniFi WiFi 6E routers for a reasonable price? Anything with at least one 2Gbps Ethernet Port?

I've randomly checked a few times a day for about a month.

What are you looking for here, just a standard WiFi router for your house with a 2.5gbe wan port?
