I have this plugged up to my nvidia shield pro since 2017-18 as external drive for apps. No issues so far. At times when I reboot the system it takes a minute for the drive to be recognized
If you want a "plug 'n stay" thumb drive, the Samsung Fit Plus is the one to get even if it costs more than the SanDisk Ultra Fit (which is a POS product). At $16, this is a Hot Deal.

That's my observation as well. I'm trying to find something grippy that will hold to what little there is to hold onto without being messy. In the meantime, I put a key ring on it to assist, but you have to be careful not to torque it when removing since the loop isn't in the center.
Lowest price I've seen...I've seen these between $20 and $25 but only the 128gb size has come for lower at $15....so this is a first time.
These drives perform better and more reliable than most other flash drives out there...seems to have a good threshhold to heat and maintaining connection and speed.
I've used it to store games in atgames arcade devices, rasberry pi, and for transferring files on PC. (paid $22 for mine a year ago)

The 128GB one Tesla includes with the car is a Samsung Bar Plus. It seems like it has the same internals as this Fit Plus in a different enclosure as the performance specs are the same.

Do you have a pack of balloons sitting around? Maybe try cutting about a 1/2" strip from the neck area of one and that should give you a circular loop that would be about the right size to fit snugly over it and provide a little better grip.

Clever. [adds balloons to Dollar Tree shopping list] Thank you!
How are you all handling the security side of these thumb drives? Y'all don't use these to store important documents and such? Sandisk and Kingston used to have thumb drives with password locks but I don't see them anymore. Are there good thumb drives that are locked behind password? Thanks in advance!

Hehe … I actually picked up a bag of black balloons from Dollar Tree at one point for some silly purpose and have used them a few times here and there for similar things, like covering charging lights on little electronic devices where electrical tape might not work as well, etc.
Great deal. I've never had a "fast" usb drive like this. According to userbenchmarks, it's at least 300-500% faster than the drives I'd been using, and they only list the 64GB version--the 256 should be even faster.
Lowest price ever + Citi $10 off = fairly straightforward impulse buy.

May or may not help for your usage, but even 7zip offers AES-256 encryption.
