It works good on sheet rock but almost useless on plaster (which lots of old houses in my area have) that's attached to wood lathe straps and metal blades can't handle either properly. Lowes sells diamond grit 4 3/8" and 6 3/8" which is specifically designed for majority of round spotlights both are same priced at $20 https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-6...aw/3373672

Another good accessory is dust shield (Milwaukee is ok but it's hard plastic instead of flexible one so sometimes it harder to feel when it actually goes through the ceiling and shroud also has small gaps that allows so.e dust to come out), I found that Blu Mol one worked much better: Disston E0215000 Blu-Mol RemGrit Hole Saw Accessories Silicone Dust Bowl, for Installing Recessed Lights and Works With All Hole Saws compatible with Fiberglass https://a.co/d/98fOcaS

The 5.0AH High Output XC is brand new, haven't seen it in any kits yet. Would def buy if I didn't already have the tool. Been super impressed with the 2.5 AH HO

Use the $10 coupon to offset the shipping. I hate paying for shipping but this is the best price with the battery.

My first time seeing a M12 5ah battery. This battery is selling @ HD for $119. It has a 4.7/5 rating with 801 reviews.

I'd call this great if you need the tool, luke warm if not, the xc 5.0 is probably worth 60-65 and the tool 80 or so, the xc 5.0 seems much harder to get than the 2.5 so far. I'd love to get one but I'm hoping/waiting for prices to come down.

Surprised the deal is over. I received the tracking number this morning so this is quick from my limited experience with them.
