Not with this exact form factor, but with larger sizes of this style of shelving. Primary complaint is that the MDF boards are only supported at the edges, there is no support under the MDF otherwise.

"Ok" for lightweight items if the shelves are in a climate controlled area.

Bad if used to hold really heavy items in non-climate controlled/humid area. The MDF shelf material tends to sag under heavy weight, and if it sags enough it will slip out of the edge support. The sag gets accelerated if it's in a humid environment which allows it to absorb moisture.
