Verizon for Warp 5G, T-Mobile for GSM, AT&T is coming later this year. You choose which carrier you want.

1. Either is fine. If you have multiple phones choose physical, transferring /switching is easier.
2. Wrap 5G, LOL, no such thing. It's a marketing BS.
southwest chipotle chicken wrap 🌯 5G yummy..😁

Usually you need your account number and a pin. Frequently your mobile number is your account number. Your current mobile provider is required by law to give you this information when you request it. sometimes it is listed on the app. Sometimes your new provider gets this info for you.

It is self service! As part of activation you type in your account/pin from the previous carrier. In case that does not work, you can always chat with csr

Won't lose anything, but you'll gain hotspot and intl calling. Another option, for low data users is their new $72/1gb/mo annual plan, which will offer $2/gb top-ups next week. I'll be moving my data pool of five lines to that plan in the near future.
Shared data also has hotspot and intl calling. It is true though that they don't lose anything - except maybe flexibility in finding a better deal later (because this new plan is only annual, whereas shared one is monthly)

Was there a thread where the top-ups for the $6 plan was mentioned? I've got a shared data line on GSM that I keep for backup data when Verizon doesn't have the best coverage, switching would save me $48/year and with auto top-ups there would be zero downside other than paying in advance.

And if chat or telephone support can't get it done they have a VERY good level 3 support team on Reddit.

My current renewal is due on March 31st.

Can I purchase this plan now and opt for 30 day free service during April then later activate the plan on May 1st? This will work ? TIA.

I ported two lines in by signing up for their free 30 day trial on their website. Make sure you have your existing account number and PIN for your current account.
Your phone should be unlocked, preferably "factory unlocked". If you port into GSM ( T-Mobile) no imei is needed. You will need IMEI if porting into Warp (Verizon).

Their support is very good if you need it. They are actually very competent and helpful.

Does my Plan include International Calling?

US Mobile customers can receive international calls, but cannot make outbound international calls. Roaming is currently not available.

Warp 5G is Verizon.
GSM is T-Mobile.
Any clue how I know which to choose, does it depend on my phone model? I have no idea what these terms really mean. Currently on Mint with a samsung fold4
