I picked one up in Seattle. Item was marked as $349.99. I asked someone to scan it. It was priced at $199.99.

In my case, brickseek was accurate. BS said 7 in stock, and "clearance" but not the price. The HD app showed 0 in stock, and only ship to store for full price ($499). I called the store and they confirmed 7 in stock and clearance price of $199. When I got to the store they found 6 on the upper shelves and $199 price.

Other nearby stores BS had the quantity, and normal price ($499).

Yes, these tools are 60v tools so a flexvolt battery is required. However, 1x 9/3 AH is included that can be used in other Dewalt 20V tools.

HD has other hackable deals with Flexvolt batteries. Or you can buy 2x kits, then individually sell the trimmer and blower for $100 each (keep the second FV battery).

Yes. The motor needs 60V and there are tabs to prevent 20V batteries from being installed (verified just now, with the both the trimmer and blower from this deal that I bought an hour ago).

There are some Flexvolt Advantage tools that can take 20V or 60V, but this is not one of them.

Forgot to add: you can use the Flexvolt batteries in most 20V tools, if you need a big battery. There are a few 20V tools that Flexvolt batteries won't fit in just because of physical size and the case of the tool around it, but I don't know which. Looking for a list now.

Incorrect, both the trimmer and blower are 60v and require a 60v flexvolt battery.

Just got back from HD (east TN). In my store, these were not in the normal trimmer section or in the clearance sections. We were leaving when we saw them in the front special deals section. Brickseek was accurate or pretty close.

Trimmer does not come with a shoulder strap, in case anyone was wondering.

Nothing is available at this price in the Chicagoland area. Checked a couple of stores and called others, price is 499. Also, brickseek information is not reliable at all.

9ah @ 20v, 3ah @ 60v, when sold with Flexvolt tools they're rated at their 60v ah rating typically, when sold alone or with 20v stuff they usually list the 20v or both ratings.

I like the blower but have not used the string trimmer yet. I bought this package a few years ago - but I see that the corporate weasels have downgraded the batter from 5AH to 3Ah - all too typical.
