I picked one up in Seattle. Item was marked as $349.99. I asked someone to scan it. It was priced at $199.99.

In my case, brickseek was accurate. BS said 7 in stock, and "clearance" but not the price. The HD app showed 0 in stock, and only ship to store for full price ($499). I called the store and they confirmed 7 in stock and clearance price of $199. When I got to the store they found 6 on the upper shelves and $199 price.

Other nearby stores BS had the quantity, and normal price ($499).

Found one in reading MA , marked with the clearance sticker. Brickseek showed 3 but I didn't see them around rhe other outdoor power tools. This one was sitting in the main aisle near another display. So psyched, both my leaf blower and trimmer died this past season! And I was looking at this package

I currently have 20V max version of the string trimmer (DCST925B ) and blower (DCBL722B).

They do well enough but sometimes wish the blower was a little stronger or I could change the stringer to an edger.

Is this worth the upgrade at $200?

I wont have any flexvolt batteries other than the 3ah this comes with.

This was a bust for me in the Los Angeles area. The two stores that said they had 1-2 left according to both brickseek and hd website told me they're OOS. Been on SD almost everyday looking specifically for a reliable string trimmer, but it seems like the last two days I didn't check, this sweet deal pops up Frown

There's no incentive to pick up information, especially when everything is on the phone now and they don't pay you anymore for improving.

Remember grocery store cashier's and how they use to knew everything, typing numbers in manually on every item like no big deal? They got paid well back then. It'll come back if stores stop taking money from their bottom employees for their CEO bonuses, but who's doing that?

Umm, this is probably the best Flexvolt deal you could ever get. Buy a couple more of these kits, and sell the blower and trimmer for $100 each, and you could essentially have as many "free" Flexvolt batteries as you want! I bought a couple extra to do just that (well, a couple for family and a couple to break up and resell). Other than that, I think HD has a deal for 2 6Ah FV batteries for under $200. If that's more your speed.

Fwiw to all fellow Arizonans, the Arrowhead Home Depot (Phoenix area) still had like twelve (12) when I left yesterday afternoon! Smilie
