It had been at this price point recently but it's rather outdated now. If this is the model you want, I'd wait a bit longer for the actual clearance sale soon.
Do they still push BIOS updates via windows update? It bricks a lot of Lenovo laptops. Because windows updates are run during off hours and BIOS updates cause the laptop to reboot and beep loudly at night. People that are not aware just shut down their laptops and brick them immediately. I have seen one firsthand, there is no fix except sending it in or find a way to program the BIOS chip from outside, so I am hesitant to buy Lenovo laptops now. This is from someone who owns a ThinkPad since the X60s.

This exact laptop was $619 refurbished about a month ago from eBay. I got it, loved it, and unfortunately had to return it because it would get into this weird state where it was impossible to wake up. Had to hard reset it to get it to do anything. Really bummed because the machine itself was awesome. It's possible they do a bios refresh or something there to solve that in the future, but didn't want to get stuck with a machine I couldn't use.
The keyboard and design of the machine are excellent. The 120hz screen is really good and after all the updates- the laptop runs quietly with the fans rarely kicking on.
The audio on it just flat sucks and I tried a bunch of methods to change it. It has a "tinish" sound to it. If you play it side by side with a 14" MBP.. the gap is massive.
All in all- I would recommend with the caveat you're always at the mercy of manufacturers and windows for whatever updates get pushed out..

So I guess that's where they get all the refurbished units from is the Costco deal where people return it when it has all those issues that people describe in the reviews
I got the 7 pro x awhile back and thought twice after seeing this, but this is still a 3050 @ $900. this also has similar ports to what I got, just know the ports are wonky sometimes, could be better.

I have this model, lesser specd (ryzen 7/16/512/90hz screen), the only gripe I have is that touchpad is so big, it's really easy to make an inadvertent touch. Otherwise great machine.

Never heard of a BIOS via Windows Update.... Plenty of firmwares tho

Wow, thats ironic. I have a Dell 7373 from 2018 that had that issue. I dont usually experience it too often anymore but I think my sleep settings are relaxed too muchActually have it to sleep after 2 hours when plugged but not sure it does.
That problem sucks, I am staying away. Like the 32gb ram though
