I have a SoundLink Mini too, both my daughter and I agree this Flex is better, even no big difference.

I remember being at a friend's gathering some time ago and hearing the music and being impressed with the sound of the small speaker which turned out to be a Bose SoundLink Micro. Recently, I was at his house and was impressed again with what I heard. It was the Bose SoundLink Flex this time.
I actually got to test his Flex against my JBL Flip 6 and a couple other speakers I have. I think the Flex compared very favorably. For $59, this is a no-brainer. I would not hesitate.
I have a SoundLink Mini too, both my daughter and I agree this Flex is better, even no big difference.
