I was excited about this deal until I saw the $400 shipping cost. That's 50% of the purchase price! Total with tax came to $1,300+ so not a deal anymore.

If you live near a warehouse, call the store and ask them if you can pick up from the warehouse. At the warehouse, the staff can unbox it for you to see if you like it, and you can return it on the spot.

Yup. I cover my sofa with blanket. And i had to find sofa with no room or legs underneath - there are not many options

You can get additional 15% discount over the chat. In my case it was almost the same as shipping cost, 119$ off. They applied discount regardless of what you decide to do, pick up or delivery.
