That seems pointlessly harsh. I don't see the case as being necessarily any worse than anything else and, AFAICT, better than the OEM offering here. Presumably, people are buying the expensive phone because the phone features bring value to them -- camera, connectivity, whatever. Does that then automatically mean that they have to spend more money for no extra value? Get a grip.

I wouldnt buy it for the screen protector. ESR gear had the glass ones on sale 2 for 5 bucks.
It has that jig too that lets you get a perfect install.

I agree, part of the cost you pay for brand name is it's reputation across thousands (hundreds of thousands, millions I don't know) of phones testing the case is design, using it over time, dropping it every which way, longevity
