LFP battery is good against fire than Li-on battery on Tesla
The battery chemistry isn't what I'm afraid of.. it's more of a possible shotty build from the mfg.
Can't tell if this was put together with the cheapest parts or how the build internally is until someone tears it apart.
I bought this in June 2023 and only have two complaints so far. Turning it off is a hassle since you have to put it into sleep mode and then hold the power button to completely shut it off. Second issue is if you leave it on, it doesn't shut off or go to sleep if there's nothing charging. A lot of people also complain that it's loud but the noise doesn't bother me. Otherwise, once you learn these quirks, it's the best bang for your buck.

It seems like EcoFlow, you have to turn off AC, turn off USB , and then turn off output to be able to let system sleep
SD has been pimping this unit to dead.
The solar input on this unit kill the deal if that's important to you.
It's very limited to 33v-60v. Here lies the problem with that.
Most panels are 20v-22v open circuit and the actual working voltage is ~18v.
1 panel doesn't work. 2 panels in series should get it over the 33v to work but when the sun is weak, it doesn't get over the 33v to work. Believe I have a unit that requires 32v.
Well, what about 3 panels in series. But remember the open voltage is over 20v so at times, 3 panels will get it over 60v which this machine won't work either. Hence the solar inputs for this machine is useless. Even though mine require 32v, it allows up to 95v so I can go crazy with my panels to make it work.
The CTECHi ST2000 for $599 shipped was a much better deal.
The solar inputs was 12v-65v so you can use 1/2/3 panels as you please.

Where do you find that? Sold out on their site and the first few other sites I found it on are European and don't ship to the US. (Edit: never mind, I see the expired threads here now. I missed it, code is dead - only discounts are on EU models.)
Thanks for the info on the DaranEner. Those voltage requirements are so unfortunate, since it looks like a good deal otherwise. I looked a bit and found no suitable panels to use with it, and their own are sold out except for their overpriced 100W unit.

There is a thing called "solar charge controller" to resolve any input voltage issue.
A solar charge controller for few dollars to let any panels combination to become any voltage output to charge this power station or battery

You should have a 48V solar charge controller for few dollars to let any panels combination to become 48v output to charge this power station
Seriously ?? A "few dollars" ??
Go ahead and find a 48v solar charger for a few dollars.
And second, this machine suppose to be an all in one which is advertised as such.
It has a built in solar charge controller. Why would I buy this and expect to buy a separate charge controller ?

You don't need to buy anything...you don't need to buy power station.
You don't need to buy a solar panel charging controller to save a few dollars.
I got a 30A solar panel charging controller for $2.69 shipped from AliExpress, it works fine for me...
Life is fun if you have solutions to resolve any problems

It seems like a lot of these batteries station are coming out..
I'm interested in getting one eventually, but reliability is a big factor for me.
imagine having one being charged, and it catches on fire 🔥 in your home while you're away 😳.
I'm not saying that will happen, but who really knows?

When connected to both grid and solar, will it prioritize solar power over grid for things in use?
