As far as I can see that's only for existing customers
No way, I paid less than $800 for my S22 Ultra, I wouldn't pay $800 for S24 Ultra, it will be that price very soon. The original price of $1200+ is too high for S24U
That's a very good trade-in value from Samsung for a 6-year old phone (that they might be able to resell in bulk for $40)! Guess they really want to keep Note 8 users in the Sam fam.

I traded in an s21U for 550, with a company discount and 50$ "preorder" credit. Ends up in S24U512G+watch6 43mm classic LTE = 750 +tax. Not too bad, and it would be sweeter if I didn't have to spend the credit on the limited selection.

I just traded in my back up S8+ on the Spectrum deal. Got $703 for it, when traded for the S24+ 512gb (free memory upgrade from the 256). The S8+ screen was completely cracked.

This is upsetting, because I have a Note10+ as my daily phone, and have been looking for a good trade-in deal for it. Three days ago I dropped my phone in the bath while the kids were on a call with their grandmother. I've dropped the phone in water a handful of times in the past, but this time it didn't make it. Over the course of three days, the screen got worse and worse, and now is no longer functioning. This means my phone is no longer eligible, and this would have been a good upgrade.
Try keeping it in a sealed ziplock bag or Tupperware container with uncooked rice for a few days. It may bring it back.
