No way, I paid less than $800 for my S22 Ultra, I wouldn't pay $800 for S24 Ultra, it will be that price very soon. The original price of $1200+ is too high for S24U

That's a very good trade-in value from Samsung for a 6-year old phone (that they might be able to resell in bulk for $40)! Guess they really want to keep Note 8 users in the Sam fam.

You should be able to add discount code EUREK24 during checkout to increase the instant credit from $75 to $125 (just like the extra $50 credit that people got for pre registering) but the code might only work if you have accessories in your cart that cost more than $75 after other discounts. In other words, if you get a message that the coupon can't be applied then add accessories to push the accessory amount over $75 then the code should work.
I should have mentioned in my previous comment that the EUREK24 code only works if you don't have the extra $50 credit for pre registration linked to your Samsung account. In other words, you can only get up to $125 instant credit for the S24+.

Google fi sells unlocked phones.
If they rather pay Samsung double the price, instead of taking 5mins to get the Fi deal, let them. Ironic since dealing with Samsung trade-ins, their quirky website takes a lot longer, and some even buying old eBay phones to trade in. I just don't get it. SMH.

Herd mentality is in full effect on this thread. Samsung deals of yesteryears were amazing, but those days are gone, and this ain't one of them. This is worst than S23 launch.

All those trading in s23 ultra, Z5 and still paying $400+ will have buyer remorse, and fast, when Samsung increases trade-in values on S23U, Z 5 series to $1000 in the next 6 weeks, along with freebies. Guaranteed it will happen.

Will the $1000 trade in value deal require to sign up for certain carrier plan?

I just traded my S4 with a broken screen for $1000 credit for the S24u with Verizon.
Glad to see I'm not the only one that for absolutely no reason holds onto phones that have long passed any trade in value.

Drives her crazy then when this deal happens suddenly it's not so bad.

Same reason I hold on a charging cords, why she throws away charging cords and then just buys new charging cords over and over again is a puzzle I will never figure out.

I demanded a phone have an SD card slot for years. Just let it go dude. They aren't coming back and honestly I get why.
Why do you get why?

Phones have insane amount of memory needs for people like me that like to take videos and pictures, apps keep going up and memory, yet my Note 4 with an SD card had way more memory then the s23 I have.

There's phones out there with memory card slots just not Samsungs

I went through the process though I already have a couple pre-orders I will need to cancel one, they won't even accept ultimate plus which is their second highest plan you have to stay on the highest when unlimited ultimate, or the grandfathered 5G ones unfortunately I don't have anymore because I had to get my own line

This is upsetting, because I have a Note10+ as my daily phone, and have been looking for a good trade-in deal for it. Three days ago I dropped my phone in the bath while the kids were on a call with their grandmother. I've dropped the phone in water a handful of times in the past, but this time it didn't make it. Over the course of three days, the screen got worse and worse, and now is no longer functioning. This means my phone is no longer eligible, and this would have been a good upgrade.
Check One Plus 12 deal. They are giving minimum 100$ for any phone and any condition

Samsung doesn't want you to know the S24 Plus is the best value. That's why they keep pushing reviewers to talk about Ultra.

The Google deal is $750 correct?
450 for the phone
80x4 monthly

Just going by what the other person was saying.

Isn't this deal for 600 out the door be better? Just asking because I want a new phone.

EDIT - Nevermind. Still see it as $400. User error Smilie

Google Fi is $450 + ~$80 for 4 months service for the S24+. No trade-in needed.
That's what I recall. The Google FI deal sounds like the best deal by a longshot!
