As far as I can see that's only for existing customers

No way, I paid less than $800 for my S22 Ultra, I wouldn't pay $800 for S24 Ultra, it will be that price very soon. The original price of $1200+ is too high for S24U

That's a very good trade-in value from Samsung for a 6-year old phone (that they might be able to resell in bulk for $40)! Guess they really want to keep Note 8 users in the Sam fam.

Page to get your own code to give, or page to get a code to use? For the former, depends on your country but US is something like samsung.com/us/account/my-referrals. For the latter, I don't think we can share that here. And yes, you enter the code in the coupon box.
Thanks. I was actually wondering about both. I found a bunch of referral codes on a popular coupon site and I tried them all during checkout and none of them worked so I thought they were probably single use referral codes. Technically couldn't you create a 2nd Samsung account and create a referral code for your primary Samsung account? How much of a discount does a referral code give you?

Samsung used to give such great discounts about 3 years ago. I remember only paying about $500 for my s21 ultra with a iPhone X trade in . And their credit for accessories was almost doubled . Geez

I actually thought about that trick after I already found a code and kicked myself for not thinking of it sooner! Discount is 5%. For me on my S24U that came out to $66 (it's affected by other discounts and trade-in I believe).

I have had multiple Samsung accounts because I always wanted to save the 5%. I am not sure its worth the effort to do that. Sure, if you are new to Samsung and its your first purchase ok. Its very easy for someone looking for one use for a puchase to find one.

If someone flat out asked me to give them a code I would oblige of course but I am not going out of my way to circumvent SD rules and pm people about a code. Posting on other social media sites is fine but from whenever I had referred someone in the past , the points only turned into a few bucks.
You said it wasn't worth the effort for the points, which implied you meant for sharing, not using. I agree it would be a hassle to create new accounts all the time for a new discount. Though the $66 I saved isn't insignificant! I kept my last phone for 5 years though so if I keep that rate it'll be awhile before I need to worry about it again!

Just noticed that my Note 10 plus is clearer when looking at security camera than my S22 Ultra. They are both on the highest resolution. Newer isn't always better. And I also love having the expandable memory but that isn't coming back. It'a time to move on.

So how am I supposed to make edu account?
by the way, thanks for trying to help many people here 🙏
You just click the discounts tab toward the top right while on a product page and it should have all the different options and select education. Should show up if you're not logged in, or if you're logged in to a new account without any discounts attached. Depending on the product you're buying it may ask you to verify with id dot me or something, but for phones it doesn't seem to.

I got 2 note 10+ and 2 active 2 watches for $1000 from. Costco (good ol days) . Phone s running fine with back glass and screen crack. Is it worth it for trade in and upgrade now to S24U?

I'm seeing lots of used note 8's for $100-$150. Any reason why this wouldn't work?
