So, I checked with couple repair shops (Samsung Care, uBreakiFix) and they are telling me the entire front screen assembly (which includes the side of the phone) will need to be replaced and it would cost $350 + Tax. I don't have insurance / warranty. I checked with a phone repair guy inside Walmart, they won't be able to repair and asked me to go to Samsung repair.
Do you think, if I roll the dice, sending the phone ASIS without repair, what are the chances the trade-in phone end up getting rejected?
I will have to send my trade-in by 2/7 and don't have much time.
Any ideas / recommendations?

That's ridiculous. You can't configure a 256gb model to become a 512gb model
Will there be another deal like this or better?
