So for the folks that don't know about Cort .. I'll cut to the chase .. All big brands for the most part get their higher end imports - Like Jackson, Charvel Pros from Korea - Cort is the company that makes them. They used to make em all but now they only make the highest import lines for these brands. This idea was created in Japan by the Fuji Gen Factory which now makes the Ibanez Prestiges - The Fender Japan Custom Shop and some other lines and Jackson PRO MIJ and on and on.
Both these businesses got the idea that why let the middleman make money when we could give better quality to the end customer. It's a stupid trap because in the end they become just like their customers but in that honeymoon period when they are changing the world they make their best products. Happened with FujiGen in the 70s and 80s. Cort is having that moment right now so get one and hold on to it.

You're spot on about the Duality though, really nutty specs and craftsmanship for the sale price. Only upgrade is the nut -- Black Tusq XL 6643-00 fit perfectly. The original nut was binding a bit with heavy trem use, but yeah. It's my regular guitar right now. Got some photos of it as well

I'm looking for something to play (er... get better at?) shred/metalcore. I'm a wannabe Angel Vivaldi / Michael Angelo Batio. I already have a Schecter C-1 Plus hardtail with an upgraded bridge pickup (Seymor Duncan JB). So I'm leaning toward the Duality because of the Fishman Fluence and the tremolo vs the EverTune, even though the sale price is $100 more expensive. What would you do?
