How can you tell? Sold by Amazon. 85% 5 stars. Money back guarantee.
Is there an official time limit the fragrance is supposed to stay active? Can't you spray it on a piece of paper and check every hour to see if it lasts the recommended time?
This is eau de toilette. I read it's only supposed to last 2 to 3 hours.
"Eau de toilette (EDT) has a fragrance concentration of between 5% to 15%. It is cheaper than the EDP and is one of the most popular types of fragrance available. It will normally last two to three hours and is considered by some as daywear (while EDP is considered nightwear)."
And what's the difference between "fresh" "aquatic" varieties? Look the same but different prices.

This is not the same quality guido cologne you remember from the 90s. I always thought Amazon sold fakes because the perfume smells so weak and lasts only a few hours. The original from the 90s would last the entire day. It appears Giorgio Arman has changed the formula and diluted the quality you remember. I bought the original from Giorgi Armani website and was sadly disappointed when it lasted a few hours. If you try to leave a review on their website stating this they wont post it because "it goes against their rules". So no matter where you buy it the scent only lasts for a few hours.

If you knew it was coming from Armani then it would be real.
Problem is you don't know it comes from Armani.
Ex/ You live in Cali and Armani is in NYC. They put their supply mostly local but Amazon has to get it to you in 2 days. So they'll find a bottle in Cali from another seller and send you that bottle. They'll just do their accounting magic and deduct 1 from Armani and keep that seller's inventory the same in their system. Problem is if that seller is selling fake juice, you just got fake juice.

Never buy designer brand fragrances from Amazon.
NEVER
"Never buy designer brand fragrances from Amazon."
All you have to do is return it if it doesn't smell right or last 2 hrs like it should. Where's the risk?

People get screwed on this a lot more often than you think. Sometimes the seller doesn't exist anymore or they'll claim they can't take it back for some stupid reason like it being flammable (even though they shipped it to you in the first place). Trust me when I say it's not worth it.

I'd agree if it wasn't sold and shipped by Amazon. It's true you can't "return" it due to the chemicals, but if it's fake you just say it's defective or damaged. Says it right there on the page.

This has also happened to me. Four times now, Amazon has refused to post negative reviews I've taken the time to write (with pics to document the reason). Positive reviews, no problem. I take Amazon reviews with a grain of salt. I've also stopped leaving them (what's the point). I seek info on the products I'm interested in elsewhere, like Slickdeals! At least I know the slickdealers will tell it straight.
