I think it's a good price but you sure it's apple factory refurb?

I mean seems worth a shot. Buy it and check serial with Apple for warranty, don't like what you see? Just return it.

I had purchased this last week. I received a legit Apple Certified device that was factory sealed. It has full warranty and is eligible for Apple Care as well. Smoking deal!
According to listing does not seem apple refurbished. Under description: ""This device has been certified by our industry-leading mobile diagnostic software to be 100% fully functional. It is in EXCELLENT cosmetic condition showing no signs of use. A generic wall charger is included. Original packaging is NOT included, comes in a white or brown box. HG1:"
And under warranty, seems to be thru Allstate: "WARRANTY one year.
Protected with fast repair or replacements. U.S. residents Only. Your email Is shared with Allstate for a frictionless experience."
This could just be the generic copy and paste elements they use for all their listings, as others above have stated they received a genuine apple refurbished product.
But if you do get one as described, not in Apple packaging with apple charger, and decide to keep, first thing I would do is check serial with Apple, get a genuine apple charger, and make sure 3rd party Allstate warranty is registered.
Where does all-day battery life come from? It doesn't. The claimed 10 hours isn't real - and the Macbook's 18 hours IS.
Because the MacBook is TWICE as fast as the PC you posted in multi and 62% faster in single threaded tasks.
The one you mention is several years old with a mediocre screen - and would be perfectly fine for a lot of people. The review leans on the fact it's several years old and discounted and specifically mentions how bad the trackpad and clicking is on it.
So try with a better PC - you could probably find one comparable and still 50% of the MacBook to prove your point. But this PC ain't it.
Wow, someone's getting really serious here
That comment was half kidding, just to ridicule OP's obnoxious attitude. Of course I didn't mean to compare these two laptops -- there is no comparison here.
(I don't buy that battery argument -- this reviewer got 7.5 hours of battery life which is close enough -- much better than some manufacturers that claim ~18 hours on 5 hours of real use. I have used M-series macbooks, and I never got that 18 hours in my personal workflow, should I claim that number is false? Be careful there.)
Thanks for the update! Mine is arriving tomorrow 1 day earlier than the original ETA. Excited to get my hands on it. Been waiting a long time to bite on a MacBook Air deal.
