Unlikely in this case. The game is currently going for 15k ARS at the argentinian xbox store, which translates to around 20 USD. This is more than likely an argentinian seller making a few extra bucks, whoever choses to use a VPN to activate it is technically in the wrong, not the seller (who, to be fair, probably knows what he's doing).

also, can someone PLEASE tell me why holding down the button to move away from the opponent doesn't block.... instead we have the sidestep and tap twice to strategically block....

I'm currently playing it on series s. As a casual fighting game fan it's superb that it has so much offline content. I like it more than SF6. I thought it might be a tie between both games. But T8 edges it out because I think for me, personally I like the Tekken juggle mechanics and of course it's 3d movement.
The arcade quest eases you into the techniques. It's my favorite mode so far.
And its cross play so Im hoping my PC friends pick it up so we can vs down the line.
No issues so far great series s port 1440 60fps.
