Hence my theory all these TVs C3, G3, S90C all use the same panel, which is the same as the one used by all C3s. Hence my expectation that this will more be in line with C3 measurements, which by the way is still fantastic. Per RTings G3 have an advantage of .1 over C3 in a 10 point scale, and beats pretty much every other non OLED.
At least we are going to get MLA panels for next g4 83.
It was tough choosing between 83 vs 77.
But I saw c3 at a friends home, and it is too bright. I think the cumulative brightness increases with the panel size. This along with the fantastic price made it an easy buy.
Also wondering if losing qd OLED is worth it for the size jump from the 77"...

I am marveled by how beautiful the picture of my c2 is and never once said to myself that it is too dim whether daytime or night time.

Take a look at Post #36 on Page 3 if you need an EPP account (it's more than just an EPP account for Samsung!). He also gives you a referral code for an additional 5% off. My advice is to create a new account using a different email to take advantage of the EPP and referral code discount.
What I did is add the item to cart. When you add the item to cart, you will see a bubble with an image of a guy in green shirt and a text bubble that says "Act Fast. Chat with an Expert about our Super Sunday Limited-Time Offers now!". Click on it to chat with an agent. Tell the agent that you want to purchase the TV and was wondering if there's any special offer or promotion that can help entice you to purchase the TV. The agent will talk to a supervisor and get you the 10% discount. Then you throw in if you can get the 2 year Samsung Care+ as well, and the agent will add it to the invoice. The agent will then create a link for you to proceed to checkout, add the referral code in the "Promo/Referral Code box" and it will apply another 5% discount. Don't forget to give a good ratings in the survey after the chat so that the agents may continue to provide us with discount.
Also, if you get an EPP account from post #36, make sure you go through the link he provided, otherwise you will not get the discount!
