As others have said, the increase in size does help a little with brightness.
Couldn't find anything real on the 83 inch model, which is truly surprising.
The 83 is a great deal, so it is really sad we have to choose between screen size and panel type.
There is a YouTube video where c3 83 and g3 77 are side by side. You can see silver color improvements, but brightens wise they look the same. due to the bigger panel on c3.
