How is this in comparison to the Energizer headlamp from Amazon for about $14, often on post here?

Both use 18650 batteries; Energizer has micro USB charger.

It's a good lamp because i have infinite supply of 18650. And looking into Rigid or Rioby battery/plug-in lights because i'm not a fan of constantly pushing the switch to get the brightness i need. This light is better than nothing. A balance between lower price or nothing at all.
Yeah, the repeated button-pressing to toggle between a dozen "modes" sounds like quite a pain. Is there a simpler headlamp out there, with maybe 2 modes?

But it has mode memory. So set it to what you need, and it will come back on at that level the next time. Change it if you need a different level, usually just by holding the button down. Then that becomes the new memorized brightness.

I got used to that part. I only use it on brighter settings. It doesn't run long because thermal protection, so i either keep pressing the button to return to the brighter settings or grab another light. That's why i want the plug in Rigid or similar. When it's $50 or less.

I got the energizer. I don't like how they advertised 1,000 Lumens but in reality that's only in turbo mode. It's okay nothing special. Then again it was $10-15. Just wish it had a magnet.
That's literally how all light manufacturers list their lumens

Yet another random six-letter ALL CAPS company of dubious quality. Their website looks like a fly-by-night flea market stand that sells cheap junk.

Lithium fires aren't to be trifled with. You really want to be cheapening out on that?
I'm confused. Looks like you've even recommended Wurkkos products in the past:

I liked the Energizer, but it stopped working after about a year (flickering/not working as if there was a loose connection somewhere). I'm getting one of these.

I've had great luck with Wurkkos lithium cells. My oldest light is just over 3 years old and its stays in my truck 24/7. Hot summers, cold winters, and it still works just as well as it did the day I bought it.

Newbie (to flashlights like this) question . I use headlamps from whatever Costco had in ad and they've been invaluable doing home projects and outdoors snow shoveling at night etc. Always interested in what the next level is. So I see "turbo mode" mentioned in this post and a couple of others. What is the purpose of this setting if it gives it a very bright light but only for a minute or so?
I still use the Feit Electric brand headlamp from Costco. It runs hot and charge even hotter. Over time the battery run time seems to deplete quick. The construction is rugged and well built.

They make outstanding lights for the money. Very happy with all 3 that I own.
