Bought a pair of these during Black Friday at $90 a piece and very happy with the purchase. Love the aux port; Powerful bass!

The 7 version has dual tweeters (like the old ones) so should be stereo--the last iteration was mono. Can an owner of this confirm the tweeters do stereo and don't send the same mono sound?

The 6 is on sale for $100. The 6 can be paired with another 6 but it's a mode that has to be activated. There's been a big discussion about this here on slickdeals in the past.
googled and found this on Reddit
HOW TO: Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 5 & 6 Dual Sound Strereo mode
Turn the speakers on, connect to either, then press the bluetooth button for 5 seconds on each to pair them in Dual Sound. They will be in mono mode meaning they'll both play back the exact same thing.
You can toggle them to stereo mode (I cannot fathom why this information is nowhere to be found in any manual or material) by playing something and pressing the play button on one of the speakers for 5 seconds. You will hear the speaker get a bit less loud and the LED will blink. This speaker is now in stereo mode and will be assigned to the R side. Press the play button on the other speaker for 5 seconds as well which becomes the L side. In stereo mode there is a \~4 second delay when you start playing something, and then it works fine.
If you turn the speakers off you must repeat the process again to get to stereo mode.
This has been tested on a pair of Onyx Studio 6s, my understanding is that it works on 5th gen speakers as well even between a 5 and a 6.
