That's like saying "I bought a 4k TV but I just watch it in 1080p because it doesn't work well when using the 4k feature."

The fact these are on Woot a few months after product launch is a good sign...

I have a Pixel 7 and have recently experienced bugs. Fortunately an update seemed to fix them, but the fingerprint reader is the one thing that never works on the phone. It makes me so angry they removed the rear fingerprint reader.

That stinks to hear. Have had the pixel 6 for over 2 years and the wife has had the 7 for almost a year now and we haven't had any issue.

Unfortunately battery life from 6 to 7 degraded, and the feedback I've heard has me hesitating on the 8, solely due to battery life reports

I have zero issues, love my pixel 8. Absolutely no bugs or battery issues. I use LTE instead of 5g.

No offense, but if you're a user that voluntarily gimps your phone, most users shouldn't be looking to your use case to determine if there are battery issues.

It's disingenuous to make it seem like there's no issues when you've downgraded to LTE from 5g precisely because of it eating battery with 5g. On that note, in addition to switching to LTE, I have to use lower screen resolution and turned off Smooth Display (120Hz) due to excessive battery usage on my Pixel 7 Pro.

Yeah, same here. The rear fingerprint reader on the 4a and 5a was lightning fast and accurate, and it's just garbage on the 7a. It's actually slightly better on the 6a, but still trash vs the previous generations
