also i want to note that, sure, adding my kroger account to my instacart account does add some small discounts to item prices listed on Instacart, but they're still not as cheap as shopping directly on Kroger.com or their app, and also does not give me access to digital coupons or promotions such as the "buy any 5 items in this promotion and receive $1 off per item" for example, so I'm not sure how to best take advantage of this Instacart discount. $80 worth of stuff on Instacart might be only $40 if ordered directly from kroger anyway (genuinely, i'm seeing a lot of large price disparities even after adding my kroger account) so i'm not sure this is all that great. maybe there is a strategy that would make it worth it but i'd have to really examine things.
