Bad: 11th Gen 2C/4T i3 CPU, which is even weaker than R3 7320U in multicore performance.

The cheapest sub $300 laptops with OK specs don't tend to have touch, not that I've seen.
The only thing I've seen similar lately is a $200 deal at Microcenter. But thats not touch and instore only. Instore deals at Microcenter arent applicable to most of us since they dont' have stores in most states.

b/c the non touch screen version at staples was about $219 not that long ago at staples. we bought a bunch and upgraded old laptops for both sets of parents and an uncle and aunt. for what they do they are great laptops. but i would never spend $300 a pop w/ tax for what this listing is for

Alternatively, spending $330 for a brand new Dell R5-7530U for $330. Yes, $50 more but over 2-year newer chip with siginificantly superior performance, which would probably leave you NO REGRET (for the dual-core)...

Yes, this deal is the only sub $300 touch laptop with touch with OK specs. Touchscreen is the only selling point for them to clear stocks with this older chip at this price (annoncement date of this Lenovo model is May 2023).
But for now, for 11th Gen CPU, I personally would only consider i5-1135G7 or i5-1155G7 or better. Otherwise, this i3-1115G4 needs to hit under $250 for me to consider even with touchscreen.
Actually, you can personalize your Front Page to 'dislike' certain sellers and theoretically those deals will at least not show up on your front page. Having said that even though I dislike Costco Whse, I still see their deals on the front page.

this exactly same model (82rkx020us) is available from Lenovo Outlet for $336 [lenovo.com], if you need it immediately not don't mind paying a premium.
certfied refurb R5-7520U currently from Acer via eBay for $267 is still alive
