Just the review. IMO any unless you are buying an OLED($$$) any LED TV is good enough if you are watching it more than 8 ft away and not in completely dark room. Regardless of what rting says. You may want to look at it being displayed before buying.

Bought one last year around Christmas 2022 TV works well I play Xbox on it all the time. I have the 58-in. TV is extremely loud. I only go up to 20 out of 100

Bought the 50 inch version on a previous prime day sale. Very, very solid TV for what it is. First one did have some dead pixels, so they sent a replacement. Both have been kicking well. Picture calibration is pretty solid out of the box. OS is reasonably responsive.

I own a local sports bar with 16 TVs of various brands, and this model is one of them. I usually buy the best TV I can get when I need it for the best value. Had this particular model since 2022 and it runs 18 hours a day 7 days a week and never a problem.

But as far as picture quality, I would say it's just ok. A couple of months ago I was able to buy a U7K 65 in open box at my local Best Buy for $528. Comparing them side by side the difference is huge, the U7 is way brighter, better contrast, and simply stands out in comparison. I would say if your budget allows, perhaps with the super bowl coming up there might be some great deals on a U7, because IMO it's a noticeable step up from the U6.

I was really tempted there but then saw that it had FireTV.

I have a Fire TV and it is the worst. There are actual ads for products to buy on Amazon that you can not turn off every time you turn on your TV. Every update makes the TV slower and slower.

I bought my TV a few years ago and it has gotten to the point where it is borderline unusable even if I want to just turn the TV on to change inputs.

does this community feel like this is better than the Costco A65K for 349.99?
Rtings seem pretty similar apart from contrast but i'm no tv expert.

I have a fire tv as the bedroom tv and I like it. It's been great for me so far. I bought my mom one too and she likes it. But i also use fire sticks everywhere. I keep being tempted by the Apple TV systems though. It looks like a really nice streaming system.

If you're looking for quality then find something with at least a 120 refresh rate - forget all the talk about motion rate, it's just a gimmick.

If you're in budget the a65k from Costco is great panel. Mine is having wifi issues and it's week six since I installed. Planning to get a Google TV box and see if it fixes ir

Thanks. Yeah, I'm looking for something cheap but can definitely spend a bit more if it's something materially better. I'll probably get the Costco TV - thank you!

Can anyone who owns this TV comment on the ability to adjust motion smoothing? Reviews on Amazon conflict as to whether soap opera effect can be turned off.

The Insignia version I have in a room doesn't do that
