T handle hex wrenches have been game changers for me. I am a quadriplegic without functioning hands, but I'm able to use the persistent muscle tone that keeps my left hand clenched in something of a fist to hold and operate these. They are the only way that I've been able to build and repair things since becoming quadriplegic. In all honesty, if I knew about these when my hands still worked I would've gotten them because they are miles better than conventional allen wrenches.

I'd have made a joke along the lines of somebody has a lot of IKEA to build this weekend but the 8mm size is much bigger than what is typically packed in IKEA builds...

Good luck!

Basically the sizes that are sale prices are the ones used mostly for bike maintenace/repair. Got the 4 and 5 mm. Was just thinking I wish I had these today when I was trying to do some maintenance, so the timing couldn't have been better!

Curious what a ball-end is for specifically, compared to a normal straight end hex?

I don't know if this is the reason, but they're a lot easier to get in, especially if you don't quite have enough clearance.

Ball-end is good for destroying high-torqued lugs. Only a small portion of this tool is making contact with the lugs. Wouldn't recommend if you're working on older/abused equipment

In cases where you can't fit the wrench in straight on, ball ends allow you to put it in at an angle. However, the contact patch between wrench and bolt is very reduced so there's a higher likelihood of stripping the bolt if it is tight.

It's best to use the regular end to crack the bolt loose, then switch to the ball end for quicker removal.

Anyone know what size would be useful for Yamaha sport bike maintenance?

Downvoted for a tool related question? lol

Too bad 90% of the time it's a slick deal on something not needed, but I buy it anyways

I totally understand! I buy slick deals that I'll need "someday." Wave

I love when I actually need something (like paper towels, or a specific tool) and find someone's just posted a deal for it.

I have some 1/8 ones without the ball end. They are very strong, I would use them to rebuild carrier draft inducer motor assemblies. The blower wheel was always a pain to get off but these held up!
