Mobil Full Synthetic and Mobil 1 are both manufactured and distributed by ExxonMobil. Mobil 1 is the premium full synthetic offering, and thus is more expensive. Both are good oils and I've run both in my cars with good success.

It isn't a trick. It's shipped and sold by Amazon. The branding only says Mobil on the non advanced non extended protection full synthetic. It's excellent oil, still rated to 7,500 miles.

That poster is paranoid.

I believe the Mobil 1 line may be a better oil, but Mobil's own product finder (linked below) actually matches my car to the non-Mobil 1 oil in this post. I have not tried this flavor, but I trust Mobil's products so I'll bite. Thanks OP.
