Check out previous thread as people got their orders and are saying what this model is like. They note only one NVMe slot and a not-great touchpad.
(Based on reviews I've seen other laptops in this price range -- the Acer Aspire 3 and Dell Latitude 15 -- they seem to suggest the Ideapad 3i touchpad and keyboard will be above par compared to similar budget models? Frame too. Sample model comparison review on NotebookCheck [notebookcheck.net].)
Note on Lenovo refurb store there's also the 82RKX011US for $278 [ebay.com], which is the same except has a non-touch VA screen -- AVOID!
I don't know if the Ideapad 5 is significantly better, but a few optiions on that have floated around on the previous thread if you'd rather try to find that in stock. (The 82SFX016US for $274 [ebay.com] I'd been tracking is non-touch and apparently only the one soldered RAM slot.)

You will need to pop in a 8GB stick to activate dual channel memory for Iris Xe graphic or otherwise it will function as UHD graphic
Best deals I could find on 8gb 3200MHz in known brands are:

For 16gb on ebay the lowest are in the $30 range: e.g. new Crucial [ebay.com] (sus?) or used Hynix [ebay.com].
The Lenovo 3 ram could be any of what's listed on the parts page [lenovo.com], I suppose.
ETA: want a backlit keyboard and the laptop must use powered usb-c. Currently have a work laptop with multi monitor setup and hub and it be much easier to swap a single usb-c cable to use all monitors and keyboard/mouse on the hub over switching all the inputs out.

brand wise, Lenovo > Acer. The touchscreen alone may well worth the $50 difference for many users
I would take this Lenovo unless 15.6" is too large/heavy to carry around. Anyway, this is now dead, and need to wait for restock (if any)

At this price range most people won't upgrade past 16gb RAM, and a touchscreen is of questionable utility on a classic laptop design (and I still question the utility a 2-in-1 that's more laptop form than tablet -- the use case is otherwise too different).
For me I use a numpad too much and a 14" 16:9 seems too small anyway for my use, but even then I'm still a bit tempted to cancel my Lenovo order for this Acer. Warranty would not be a major concern for me -- most no-name refurbs last me quite a long time unless the battery nukes.

Also just realized that the Acer has 100% sRGB, which is superior to the Lenovo.
But personally, I am bit concerned about the short warranty coverage with Acer.

Goddammit, I ordered pretty much as soon as it went live too. Anybody else getting cancellations? Also, if it was OOS when I ordered, it shouldn't have take over 24 hours to get back to me. Not sure if I should RTS the RAM I ordered and just get something else.
