I think the deal is buy the saw for $59 and get a free batteries. Select pick up in store and pick 2 different stores. Then it will split the order into two ($26 for the saw and $32 for the battery). Then you can cancel the battery order later

People crap on this saw but I love mine. Perfect for roughly breaking down sheet goods in the Home Depot parking lot so they fit in my SUV . It's handled 3/4" plywood just fine. I have corded saws for use in the shop. I'd buy one at this price if I didn't already have one.

Do I cancel the order after picking up the saw? I don't see the cancel order button on the order on the Home Depot website

I have the old blue ryobi 5-1/2 saw that's very similar. Cuts a 2x4 no problem depth wise; it's not close, it completely cuts it. Power wise, maybe this new one is weaker, but I think some of the comments saying it's so weak may need to try larger or new batteries, as my old one goes right through them. Also, It can be easy to forget there is a depth guage on these saws, which may be why some might think it won't be deep enough to cut a 2x4.

FYI Harbor Freight has a thin kerf carbide tipped blade that fits this saw for $6. 5.5" blades can be a little more difficult to find

Yeah, I think people are going to be underwhelmed by this saw. I would go for one with a bigger blade and more power if you hope to use it for anything heavy duty. I imagine it's going to get stuck often. If it's only for occasional use, then it's a good deal if you're already in the Ryobi product line and doing some light DIY.
