Hell of a deal if you get the two free tools with it. Comes out to $320 plus tax for a circular saw, drill, flashlight, batteries and your choice of a bunch of others.

this was $190** last week using "the hack". that deal was posted multiple times on here. that sale was around from jan 1 to last friday. you can still get it now for $269 using the the hack.

$320 is way too much for this kit

Can't find that post - do you have a link?
If you want the 2 free tools, the online price of $500 is compelling to me. I can only assume the in-store price does not include the 2 free tools.

Will wait to see if it's been cheaper in the past.
Any help is much appreciated.

i was wrong. it was actually $190. $207 was the price after tax. this is without extra tools. it was posted AT LEAST 5 times
i attached my e-receipt from home depot

EDIT: i was also wrong about the time frame. that sale went on from december 16 to last friday. not jan 1. this is one of the first posts about it https://slickdeals.net/f/17171962-dewalt-20v-max-lithium-ion-cordless-3-tool-combo-kit-choice-of-2-bare-tools-in-store-ymmv-399?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Can you grab say 2 xr routers and create a deal with the discounted set price? The deal is still live online. Not sure if this would ring up in the store like it does online.

It should ring up with the two free tools at the checkout. I haven't had a chance to get to the store, but I have gotten similar deals like this. It should still be in the system

Dang it shows $499 online vs the $319 in store! That's waaaaay pricey!

Is this hackable for the batteries? Do I still need to pick the free tools?

This link is not for the same price tag in the post picture. That price is for another combo kit that doesn't have the DCD999 flexvolt drill.

It's not the kit that comes with free two tools.

That is a different bundle but thanks for link. Edited for clarity once I got more details. OP does not qualify for the 2 free tools.

Here is correct link for what OP took picture of. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../324507332

Here is brickseek. https://brickseek.com/home-depot-...=324507332

Happy hunting.

My store had these kits for $399.00 with a yellow tag. I did purchase one with two tools but they did not ring up as free.

The photo that shows up at the register does say two free tools and after showing the online page they took the price of the free tools off.

Not the $319 I was hoping for but still good.

The picture he has for the $320 kit is this link.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../324507332

Its been this price for a few weeks now ($319 in store and online) But now its jumped back up to normal price online. Its an older kit. I found it in store and the person said the last kit sold at that store was in October 2023. So might be harder to find than the black friday kits.

Curious if anyone knows if the Black Friday kits with the 2 free tools are still $399 in store? They were $399 online until maybe Saturday but now its back up to $499. Curious if they are still $399 in store since BS still says its "Clearance"

So I'm curious here. How many people actually like the power stack battery? I have two of them and I think they're the worst batteries that DeWalt has created. And I don't know if I have two that are just bad but I bought him as a kit and they do not hold a charge as long as the traditional battery. Even though they're rated capacity is supposed to be equivalent to like a 5 amp hour I find it's more like the 1.25 amp hours. I bought it for the compact size and found it does not live up to the design. So curious what others think about these.

I think you are misinterpreting how they are supposed to be perform (assuming you are talking about the smaller powerstack 1.7ah). The power output and performance is supposedly similar to a 4ah or 5ah xr battery but will last only about a third as long. If you are talking about the 5ah powerstack, it supposedly performs somewhere between a 6ah and 8ah xr battery depending on what you are using. Not all tools will necessarily benefit from the increased power though.
One side effect of the increased power out is shorter battery though.
I haven't tested them out side by side with the xr batteries, but I do like how small they are and how quickly they charge due to the small size. I haven't been lacking power while using them.

I havent used the 5AH much but the smaller 1.7 ones seem equivalent or close enough to the normal 2ah 20v normal batteries.

It could be the tools are pulling more power from the PS 5AH than they would from a normal 5AH 20v and it's running out faster than normal because of that.
