I got one of these for ~$130 on Black Friday in 2016. This was one of the best purchases I ever made and I think I'll order another one for $170 now and be very happy.

This cheap little generator works so amazingly well. We have sent ours to hell and back - its been left out in the mud in the pasture for months, covered in snow, rained on, etc. I don't think we've ever changed the oil. It just keeps on running when we need it to operate the heaters for our pasture water troughs. It's small enough that its easy to carry around, and the engine is small enough that my wife can start it without complaining.

Absolutely love this generator. It works so well and is so cheap that I think it's probably the best value in generators around.

Dude stfu, I ordered 2 instead of 1 because of your multiple posts. Believe it or not people use generators for more than phone chargers. Battery generators capable of powering a furnace, sump pump or refrigerator are extremely expensive. The batteries will occupy landfills til the end of time and take slave labor to mine them. Screw you.

Do you realize that the power you use to charge your electric generator comes from burning coal or nuclear power plant which can cause environmental disaster? Do you even know where the batteries come from and how they are made? Are you aware of battery disposal environment impact? Do your own research and realize that you will leave larger environmental footprint with batteries rather than gas.

Be warned it's more like 500 running 800 starting, got one a few years ago, couldn't even run power tools on it, good for very light loads. Wanted to use it with a battery charger.
This was also my experience.. Any load over 500 would cause the electronics to shut down within seconds. The engine didn't seem to be overloaded.

It's a shame because the size and weight of the thing were really nice. If it would have performed close to what they advertised I would have kept it, but it fell far short of 1000W/800W.

Good little generator, I have one and have used it to power my fridge and freezer. Not at the same time. Works great.

I am anal about maintaining it. Each time it's used, oil and gas is drained before storage, new oil added before use. Always starts on first pull. I only use non-ethanol gas. It has a carburetor and government gas eats up carburetors.

I advise breaking it in when first purchased, run for an hour with a load, then drain oil and gas and store.

There are so many big battery generators at affordable pricing which make more sense...and using this with all the unregulated pollution it puts around you...seems like dumb purchase no matter how cheap it is.
Your mom is probably disappointed in how you make up stuff

So stoked about this. Decent write up on generator bible as well. Good for camping at 56dB. I have been staring at LFP batteries for so long and the prices have been dropping a lot faster than generators. Now I can use this in the meantime and when the batteries get really affordable I can still use this as a backup

Bought mine a few years back. Works well for light loads, but leaks oil like a sieve... even when it's not running. I store it on a thick rubber mat to collect the oil and top it off before each use.

I have learned from power outages now that you need about 6,500 W to run an entire house, that's what my neighbor has. This is a nice price and probably worth getting at but for not a whole lot more money you can get a big generator that will do it all.

Just keep in mind you can't charge both at the same time and it might max out this little guy charging 1. My 2kw generator pretty much maxed out charging my river 2...if I try plugging in something else with a moderate draw will overload it

The delta 2 ecoflow app let's you set the max AC charge speed from 200w to 1500w, so if I run into the same issues you did, I can slow the charge speed to accommodate anything else I might be running. I appreciate the heads up though!
