Sadly, no. Conversion rate is best for 1 month and gets progressively worse with longer conversion periods.

1 month core is 20 days of Ultimate --- 3/2 ratio
6 months (180 days roughly) of core is 81 days / 2+ months of ultimate --- 3/1.5 ratio
12 month of core is 4 months of ultimate --- 3/1 ratio

Full conversion table from https://support.xbox.com/en-US/he...imate-faq:
1 month of Game Pass Core = 20 days of Ultimate
3 months of Game Pass Core = 50 days of Ultimate (1+ month)
6 months of Game Pass Core = 81 days of Ultimate (2+ months)
12 months of Game Pass Core = 4 months of Ultimate
24 months of Game Pass Core = 6 months of Ultimate
1 month of Gold = 20 days of Ultimate
3 months of Gold = 50 days of Ultimate (1+ month)
6 months of Gold = 81 days of Ultimate (2+ months)
12 months of Gold = 4 months of Ultimate
24 months of Gold = 6 months of Ultimate
1 month of Xbox Game Pass for Console = 22 days of Ultimate
3 months of Xbox Game Pass for Console = 68 days of Ultimate (2+ months)
6 months of Xbox Game Pass for Console = 135 days of Ultimate (4+ months)
12 months of Xbox Game Pass for Console = 9 months of Ultimate
24 months of Xbox Game Pass for Console = 18 months of Ultimate
1 month of PC Game Pass = 20 days of Ultimate
3 months of PC Game Pass = 60 days of Ultimate (1+ month)
1 month of EA Play = 10 days of Ultimate
6 months of EA Play = 40 days of Ultimate
12 months of EA Play = 2 months of Ultimate
Might want to check that math again.

Auto converts to 4 months of Ultimate. So saves about $4 per month.

I think it is actually $2.75 per month. Might want to edit your comment, that is prob why you are getting TD'd.

edit: my bad, forgot they raised the price.

It was 3:2. 36 months of Core to 24 months of Ultimate. The added month was for the month of Ultimate I bought on top. The other conversion rate is for those that have a current/existing subscription.
Thanks for clarifying. I have used the initial $1 first month of GPU and a cdkeys code for a few bucks after the first month had expired. Both were on my account but used by my son with his account on the same Xbox. Planning to sign him up for the 3:2 two years so he can use cloud gaming on his account. Since he hasn't had a subscription himself I suppose this should work.

Do you know if you can "pause" game pass and resume it later? For example, I use game pass ultimate for a month, then want to pause it for a month or two, then use the remaining few months. Or do the 4 months need to be uninterrupted?

You could buy a bunch of these and cash them in one at a time, that would be the only way.

As long as it is expired, it will work. Doesn't matter if you had it in the past or not. If you both play on the same Xbox you will both get the ultimate benefits regardless of who is signed up. Can even be different xbox's as long as whoever signs up for ultimate has the other Xbox as their "home" xbox. The $1 trial might be ymmv though.

48.99/4 is 12.25 per month. Regular price is $17. So 4.75 per month savings.

Cheaper to get 3 month game pass core for $14 on eneba and stack them which adds 50 days to active

that's 28c per day vs 40.8c

Do you lose anything like gamerscore or anything like that if you let your ultimate expire. Seems like the way to go is to let it expire then buy these deals and get the better conversion rates that come from not being a current subscriber.

Yes but if you wait to renew until you expire that 12 months core will turn into 8 months +1 month of ultimate, so 9 months. Might end up cheaper just to convert to ultimate again depending on how much halo costs at that point.

My sub IS about to expire, and I'm still going to wait - this does not seem like a great deal to me. I'll keep picking up single month deals until something better comes along.

Yup, same boat for me...I'm a patient dude

Letting game pass expire won't affect gamer score. Main issue is losing access to any Games with Gold or Game Pass games you may have until Game Pass is renewed. It will also somewhat affect the ability to participate in the Microsoft Rewards program on Xbox since a significant part of that program has shifted to being linked to Game Pass.

It's Newegg…. I hope this isn't a serious question or you've been living under a rock.

This might be a good deal for some, especially if you don't need Ultimate - but I have generally been picking up non-stackable 30 day (Ultimate) codes for $3-$6 as needed. Got one today for under $6 from CDKeys. Never had an issue with them - tried a few vendors on Eneba and they always errored out at checkout via PayPal saying "the price changed while in your cart" which is bs.

Anyway, stay safe out there.
