Cons:
Speakers make buzzing noise if you are very close
PC over hdmi can be wonky. It just turns black and you have to switch inputs back and forth

Feature wise, no the Pioneer offers much more for less.
This would be more for someone that doesn't need those added features and prefer Marantz.

One thing I wish the Amazon had was better home integration options for HDMI switching, but it's been pretty solid otherwise. I don't know what I'm missing sound quality-wise, though. Paid $400 for the Yamaha.
