I7-1300F - $380
Windows - $100
MSI PRO B760-VC WIFI Motherboard - $170
That's already 1100
You also need a case, ram, storage and potentially cooling. Even if you want to nitpick the prices or deal hunt you're barely going to come off cheaper and you have to put it together yourself which isn't something everyone's comfortable doing.
If you want to or have the know how, sure build it yourself. But to act like the tiny premium you're paying here if you are at all, is out somehow outrageous is just being ignorant. Get DoorDash a couple times and you've wasted more money on "convenience" than you will on this pre-built.
14700k is $400
Windows is $100
The motherboard in this rig is $170, I assume yours is comparable.
That's $1320. the entire budget already and you don't have a case, ram, storage, cooling ect.
The average person isn't going to be able to build this themselves for that price without some know-how or extensive deal hunting.
You're also paying for a connivence which is totally fine. DoorDash is a waste of money, you could just go get the food yourself but people pay it. You can do 90% of your car maintenance yourself with a YouTube video and save a buck yet somehow tire shops and lube stations still exist. Your time and your connivence is worth something to most people

Would prefer a bigger PSU and a larger SSD instead of the HDD, but this seems like a great deal for a gaming rig that should do well for many years.

Obviously I was gravitating to it due to the 16 gigs of video memory, as well as 32 gigs of DDR 5
I have not seen anything in this price range as well as with the Costco warranty. That might be any better.
The reason why I was looking at this product, was mainly due to the video memory, as I'm doing medium intensive video editing.
I was having hiccups with my existing video card of an older computer that only had eight gigs video memory.

Looks way better than the throw away stuff Dell gives.
