Not a bad price at all even with the better screen and larger SSD.

If you have Perks at Work available to you, it's worth checking out the pricing through there. For $1095 I specced out the T14 Gen 4 like this:

AMD 7840U
Windows Pro
52.5Wh battery
32gb RAM
256gb SSD (my plan would be to buy a 2TB SSD on my own and swap it out)
400 nits low power screen
Fingerprint reader
Backlit keyboard

Similar price for T14S with the same specs, so I've been trying to decide between the two since you can't upgrade RAM on the T14S.

Do you need any special SSD for that? I tried to replace the drive on my X1 Nano and found it quite hard to find a single-sided 1TB SSD. So I'm stuck with 512GB.

Crucial lists their P3 drives as single sided and their compatibility tool says compatible with the T-series laptops even for the 4TB. So while maybe not the fastest drive out there, I'll probably go with that.
