It's white rice, depending where you are in Asia, some serve rice as "sticky", which makes it easy to eat with chopsticks.

I always thought sticky rice (glutinous) is what they use in say Thai dessert w/ mango or savory in dim sum w/ chicken or pork. So this is just......rice.
