Listing as 90 day Woot warranty? As unopened, I would have thought they'd have the manufacturer warranty. If they don't, I'd seriously consider the reconditioned ones with the 2 year third party warranty over these.

Is new worth the $80 premium over the Secondipity refurbished $200? I like my refurbs but they sometimes skip once every 2 hours or so of use.

I like these headphones a lot. Bought them new on black friday. If you decide to connect them to your phone you need to go in to your phone's developer settings and do some shenanigans to get the best codec, but it is worth it.

I've been using these for the last 3 weeks and I really enjoy them. I'm not an audiophile but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. The sound quality is excellent. Not as airy (soundstage) as the Hifiman Ananda, but good enough for me as a trade off for convenience (no wires). The Sony app also has an EQ that really opens up the sound. Noise canceling is top notch. I've also gone on a few calls while walking outside. The people on the other end said the microphone was excellent (better than the AirPod pros) and the mic noise canceling also excellent. I walked by gardeners trimming hedges and a blower and the caller couldn't hear the background noise. The battery is also excellent. On the downside, they do get a bit warm on the ears if you wear them for hours at a time.

Same question here, I think the refurbs are the better buy since they come with the warranty too and tons of happy customers of Secondipity on SD.

I love my refurb purchase of these, and having that 2 yr warranty puts my mind at ease (not bc my copy has issues, but bc peace of mind!)

I ordered one from Secondipity, came in sightly dirty AND DOA. Granted I got a lemon, but $80 give you a piece of mind and full warranty.

I also got this from the secondipity deal a few weeks ago and will throw in my .02 I previously tried all the beats headphones (fit pro, solo 3, Powerbeats pro, Beats Studio pro) and these absolutely blow them out of the water. I'm not an audiophile and use these mostly working out and cooking/around the house, but these are by far the best headphones I've ever had. The sound is super clean, great bass, great custom eq, I absolutely love them. As far as downsides, they are quite a bit warmer to wear than the beats solo3/studio pro, but other than that, they sound so much better, are more comfortable, fit the ears better, noise canceling is much better then the beats. The ones I got from secondipity looked brand new just didn't come in a box, just the carrying case, would definitely buy them again.

I bought these headphones at full price. They sounded great! But they had CONSTANT problems. First the touch pad tone started constantly going off when I would turn my head the slightest amount. Then an annoying clicking sound started going off in one of the cups. Then they just randomly stopped working one day, wouldn't charge anymore. This all happened after about a month of having them (right after the Amazon return window closed.) I searched on Reddit when dealing with the touchpad issue, and other people reported having it too. Their solution was to open the cup of the headphones and disconnect the cable leading to the touchpad, an absurd solution for such expensive headphones, imo. I still can't believe +400$ headphones stopped working after a month. I switched back to the WmX4's and those still work a year later though. I'd personally avoid these.
