I'm not sure about that. The Newegg and Asus prices is $610. Maybe cause it is the OC card? Not sure. Either way OP saved me $10 that I was about to give to Newegg.
The MSRP from Nvidia is $599. Now other companies can price it however they want and try to convince you that changing a number in a table to OC or that their version of a cooler somehow costs more but the fact is that business is business and they will change whatever they can convince you to pay.
The FE of the card direct from Nvidia is $599 and while I understand that you can add things to the card to make it more expensive, the "percentage" in FPS increase you may get with these tiny overclocks are so insignificant that it's not even worth it anymore.
Now if you are more interested in comparing benchmarks or having fancy led lights or anything other than actual gaming, well that's different but if you only care about gaming then it's really about is best price for the performance you get.
Heck... $10 is nothing and if you somehow feel that $10 is going to tip the balance between buying or not, maybe the 4070 Super is too expensive for you

This is very misinformed.
The reason why third party cards can be more expensive is they often add additional fans, more expensive cooling, different warranty policies, etc.
When it came to the base 4070, the third party cards that were $10 more often had better cooling and a tiny performance boost as a result.

They're not just reselling the same card.
