I think It will be $800+ at least, if not $1000+ based on recent prices of new Epiphone models and signature models. $1200 isn't even out of the range of possiblity.
It will depend on how many more premium features it has. Pickups, fretboard, tuners, and case or lack of case.

But it has all that Grohl all over it, and it stains!
Trogly was speculating that it would likely be in that $1200-1500 range and likely with full Gibson electronics. Tough sell unless you just LOVE DG. You could grab this one and just buy any Gibson PUs you want now that they sell them on their website. Different f holes and finish options obviously.

I for one love David Gilmour, never knew he played a 335.
Why are 335/dot semi-hollows so heavy? I dig the style, tone and Gibson scale length; I'm just surprised whenever I try one that they weigh 8 or 9lbs.
I'm guessing it's because of the large block of wood that makes them SEMI hollow. I don't find my Sheraton any heavier than my Player Strat, but I'll have to check the scale later.
The Thinline Telecaster might be a solution if you're looking for a semi-hollow that's really lightweight.
