How do you connect wired headphones? A 3.5mm female/female adapter isn't included either.

Are you joking? Its a headphone jack to BT converter. If you already have a headphone you wouldnt need this, you just plug it directly into the airplane seat headphone jack...

This is for folks like me that only have BT headphones...

I agree that it wasn't a great question, but you are missing or discounting the fact that this is also a BT receiver. Say for wirelessly streaming from your phone to a pair of powered speakers. At quick glance, what he is proposing doesn't seem to be out of the question.

Ah i see. That's a good point, you'd need to buy your own female to female adapter depending on your headphones, i have one model where the cable is removeable so you could in theory just plug the 3.5mm jack of this adapter into it and turn it wireless if you glued this device to the side of the earphone. Same for some powered speakers folks have that take RCA inputs (they might also take 3.5mm input).

No, I am not joking. It is not just a transmitter for airplane use only. It is also a receiver with other use cases. For example, I want to transmit Bluetooth audio from Nvidia Shield to this device and connect my wired headphones.

If you have a wired headset, on an airplane - you don't need this. This is to take a 3.5mm source and convert it to bluetooth.

I got the coupon, but after reading the description, decided I don't need the device. Deal is not dead.
