Hi, new angIer here and just startin to research necessary gear for this hobby. What is the advantage this tackIe bag over a traditionaI box? Does it offer more comfort, durabiIity...the interior Iooks Iike it has compartments too? Any tips much appreciated. TlA.

Do you own this Okeechobee bag? This strap Iooks better and aIso more secure over the CaIamus one as it is not removabIe.

A tackle box usually has fixed storage trays. The bags give you more pockets for stuff and are somewhat collapsible if you have less gear in it. Bags work off the Plano style boxes. They have dividers that can be moved to make larger or smaller compartments. There is the realtree fishing backpack on Walmart for $25 that comes with 4 tackle trays. I wish it had more zippered pockets, but it's a good place to start. The tackle trays aren't the best, but again, a good place to start. The KastKing 6" pliers combo (not the split-ring style) for $10 is also a pretty good starting point for pliers and lip grips.

I do own the Okeechobee bag. It's awesome. I've had it for a couple years and used it hard. It's a great size. The strap is okay but not spectacular. Everything else is awesome.
