Heads-up for anyone considering this rebate as of March 1:

It looks like the list of participating retailers has been drastically reduced — Home Depot / Advance Auto / Autozone / Oreilly (to name a few I can recall) are now all INELIGIBLE!

Per the fine print:
"Sponsor may amend, modify, cancel or extend this offer, at any time, without notice."

Buyer beware, pennzoil's track record with these rebates is on the decline.

Walmart and Walmart.com are two separate entities and orders placed online are walmart.com. I found this out when I had an issue with a tire order. The store guys couldn't help me because it was a walmart.com order and I had to take it up with them.

Never had a problem with 5-6 Pennzoil rebates I've done in the past few years. One instance I had to provide more info the product was delivered from Amazon. Takes a long time but if you play their game, you will get it.

They contacted me like 6 months after I submitted my rebate asking for proof of delivery. Amazon only saves the shipping info on their orders page for something like 3 months. I got a service rep to dig up the UPS tracking, only to find it was timed out of UPS's tracking data. Rebate denied.

I haven't had a problem receiving the gift card in the past, but is this a Shell gift card? That was what I received in the past. And that's the challenge - I have no Shell gas stations near me to use it with.
