The 2024 Pennzoil rebate program has started, giving you up to a $25 gift card. The terms state:
  • Not valid on purchases made on Amazon.com or Walmart.com.
  • Void in RI and where prohibited or restricted by law. While supplies last.
  • Qualifying purchase must be made in one transaction. Limit one (1) redemption.
New this year is the restriction on walmart.com. Offer valid from February 1, 2024 – September 30, 2024

Heads-up for anyone considering this rebate as of March 1:

It looks like the list of participating retailers has been drastically reduced — Home Depot / Advance Auto / Autozone / Oreilly (to name a few I can recall) are now all INELIGIBLE!

Per the fine print:
"Sponsor may amend, modify, cancel or extend this offer, at any time, without notice."

Buyer beware, pennzoil's track record with these rebates is on the decline.

Walmart and Walmart.com are two separate entities and orders placed online are walmart.com. I found this out when I had an issue with a tire order. The store guys couldn't help me because it was a walmart.com order and I had to take it up with them.

Never had a problem with 5-6 Pennzoil rebates I've done in the past few years. One instance I had to provide more info the product was delivered from Amazon. Takes a long time but if you play their game, you will get it.

Pennzoil will find any possible excuse to decline the rebate. That is why it is important to strictly follow offer terms like: " NOTE: Purchases made on a retailer's website require receipt with order confirmation/order number and shipping confirmation or final delivery/pick-up receipt." I submitted not only autozone.com receipt but invoice printed from autozone website showing tracking number and "DELIVERED" status confirmation from FedEx. I have done at least 15 Pennzoil Rebates with 100% success. But I must agree with some that occasionally Pennzoil does decline a rebate for no reason. If happened to me once when rebate was declined because of "purchase date not w/in offer period". Took 1 phone call to clarify (Pennzoil mistake) and approve my rebate.

Currently not available for pick up or delivery in my area but might be available in yours. Just check autozone.com. Only 10W30 flavor is $20.

Thank you. Was able to purchase 2 - Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30 5qt. The High Mileage variant is not as easy to find as some of the others. Completed my submission this morning.

I purchase 2 at Walmart in-store a few weeks ago and got my rebate already but when I went to use yesterday, I realized I bought the wrong one for my car. Would it be an issue if I were to go exchange them for the one I need?

Walmart will exchange with/without receipt if unopened. Need photo ID without receipt.
