Starting at 12.99?? I wish!! My local dickeys is 15.99 for a chicken sandwich combo, and thats the cheapest option. Not sure how they stay in business.

Best description I've found for their meat is it's a dry vehicle to transport the sauce.

The WORST barbecued leather...ahem, meat...I've ever had, and that includes some memorably bad experiences at Old Country Buffet and Golden Corral. It's astonishing how this place can charge the kind of prices they do given the dreadful food they serve.

I LOVE BBQ! Ate at this place once. Couldn't finish it because it was terrible. Obviously have never gone back and wouldn't recommend.

The one in Elwood, IL is fantastic! Everything I ate there was great and never got a bad meal there.

Dickey's was never even close to the best in Dallas, alone, not exactly the center of Texas BBQ. Roland Sr., was never the nicest guy in our high school class. Actually, the opposite. Their growth can be attributed to the failure of taste in the American market. Though I would love to give a classmate props for his business, and family success, it's hard given the general failure of their product to adequately represent "Texas" barbeque. Tried one of their locations years ago. Haven't been back. They aren't the only ones serving halfasses bbq.

I tried it years ago. It was expensive, and not good enough to go back again. Though there are some great "hole-in-the-wall" BBQ places, my favorite chain is Famous Dave"s. Great Ribs!!!! Peace
