Folks will buy 3 games to get the discount and then return 2 of the games. They end up getting the game they keep at a discount. I can't remember the details because I've never bothered with that crap. Dude a couple posts above complains about Target being stingy yet is completely oblivious to grasping that he and the others doing that crap will eventually ruin the deal for everyone so they can get their one title a bit cheaper. If I were Target, I'd put my foot down on these folks rather than ruin the deal for everyone but unfortunately, that's often not how the world works.

Preorder for Sea of Stars physical edition ($40) and Visions of Mana ($60) are eligible. Sea of Stars is a little tough to justify since it's been down to $25 digital.

Lies of P is eligible and currently $53, which is only slightly higher than the all-time-low of $48 digital or $50 physical. Inb4 "free on game pass"

don't see anything worth buying except for tekken 8 and like a woke dragon... but still too high of a price to pay. rather just wait a few months and get it for $20.

They've allowed this for 15 or so years. This isn't new.

My favorite part though is when they hit the return cap and are denied the 'no receipt returns' they try…to "maximize" the theft - I mean discount…

I get suckered into buying MLB the Show Digital Deluxe Edition every year even though the base game launches on game pass. MLB the Show 24 does work with this deal, I'll have to jump on this if they add the $125 Negro Leagues Edition to the deal.
