How do you tell which version of floyd when evh branded? Is it the same on standard and special? Is it equivalent to a 1000?

I've sold all of my EVH gear and I will never buy another one of their products. I supported the company when Ed owned the brand, but I will not give a dime to his entitled, unprofessional, man-baby son who inherited ownership and routinely trashes his customer base on social media.

Just received this guitar from Adorama. It arrived double boxed and shipped from Utah because I'm on the West Coast. I got it in two days. Haven't bought from them before but but definitely would do it again.

I've played several EVH Wolfgang Specials, made by Fender. They have all been just as well built as my American Professional Strats. I don't understand why some Van Halen fans attack the company. I would just ignore that criticism, because the Mexican factory is doing great work and these Wolfgang are priced competitively. The new EVH semi hollow is very expensive for a Mexican made guitar. The Wolfgang is the sweet spot. And because the trem is dive only, tuning is much easier than a floating set-up and then you get the stability of a double locking system. Pretty much anyone can figure out how to set up a dive only Floyd.

Listed on the product pages. Standards use FR specials. Specials use FR 1000.
