$100 extra for cellular is still insane, especially when Apple themselves normally only charge $50 extra for the SE models. That's some internal inconsistency I can't wrap my head around.

Braindead comment. Competition is good.

They've put out tons of good deals over the past decade. Any true SDer would welcome those deals.

If only I didn't order one of the open box ones for pickup a couple of days ago. Hopefully they can do the adjustment at pickup.

My series 9 is all scratched up within weeks without cover, series 6 I didn't cover had very minimal wear and tear. FYI. Cover it up!

Bought an open-box (Excellent condition $254.99 + tax) for my sister (got free 3-month Apple Music and 4-month Apple Fitness+).

My series 5 Apple Watch is still working fine. :-)

Worth upgrading from first gen SE? Or would a 7 or 8 make sense?

s8 has the same chip as s6 , which just a little faster than 4 and 5 on paper

So for the processors alone, yes

That's worrisome. You need a magnifying glass to tell that my Watch 6 isn't brand new. I was assuming the newer models would be even tougher.

The 9 has double the storage and something else . . . crash detection maybe? I forget. Easily worth $35 more.
